The exhibition 100 Years of Sehgal: the Modern Artist’s Centennial Anniversary, was organized in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. The entire collection of 12 artworks were exhibited at the Museum for 3 months. The artist’s relationship with NGMA dates to 1958 when he first received the Gold Plaque – for the president’s Award for his work, Cries Unheard which was later included in the ermanent collection of NGMA.
Works such as Tyranny of Colonialism, Tortured, Flute Player are some of the iconic works currently in NGMA Collection, among others.
