Our first residency in collaboration with Top Floor Studio was awarded to Amar Nath Sehgal Inception Grant recipient, Abhishek Chakraborty.
The artist was hosted for a month-long residency at Top Floor Studio, where he engaged deeply with material exploration and developed new works. The residency culminated in participation in the Open Studio hosted by Top Floor Studio, which brought together works created by multiple artists. Among them was Abhishek Chakraborty, who received the residency as part of the Amar Nath Sehgal Inception Grant.
The works presented during the Open Studio reflected the artists’ continued engagement with material experimentation and processes supported by Top Floor Studio.
