Amar Nath Sehgal Private Collection hosted a two – part creative workshop where children explored a painting, an oil on canvas, by Amar Nath Sehgal, dated 1960. First, they were asked to study the work, as a professional would, draw their own interpretation. This session encouraged their imagination and focused on their ability of storytelling. Each of them presented a version of their interpretation of the artist’s creation.
Later they created artworks based on their learning of mosaic art, where they recreated the oil painting in the form of a mosaic technique on paper.
