Exhibitions

The group exhibition has been presented under the Young Artists Program in collaboration with The Laburnum in Gurgaon. The works of fifteen young and emerging artists were brought together to a shared space where diverse voices and perspectives converged. Through varied styles and narratives, the exhibition became a platform for dialogue, reflection, and recognition — celebrating the spirit of harmony within difference. The program brought art to the community of like-minded individuals who support the arts.

The Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in India celebrated the cultural ties between the two countries on their National Day by featuring three sculptures by artist Amar Nath Sehgal, highlighting his deep cultural connections with Luxembourg. A true tribute to the legacy, the display reflected the enduring Indo–Luxembourg friendship through the lens of Sehgal’s artistic vision and longstanding engagement with the country, which still continues. 

As part of the Young Artists Program, the Consulate of Luxembourg in Mumbai opened its doors to support young talent, which included 5 emerging women artists, 3 of whom received grants from the Sehgal Collection. The exhibition explored the opportunity to bring artworks to public spaces, such as this historical landmark in Mumbai, to promote their ongoing work. We collaborated with two prominent institutions - Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust and Jamia Millia Islamia University- to support them. 

At the India Art Fair this year, the Amar Nath Sehgal Private Collection showcased a curated selection of the artist’s bronze sculptures at the VIP Lounge, in collaboration with Pallavi Khandelwal of Artbela. The display invited viewers into a seamless dialogue that celebrated Indian modernism through Sehgal’s timeless and evocative practice. The three sculptures are a testament to his pure modernist style from his earlier series. 

Curated by Uma Nair, the iSculpt exhibition was an ode to her role model, Keshav Malik. The 5th chapter of iSculpt was dedicated to celebrating the art critic’s Centennial Birth anniversary.

To celebrate the National Day of Luxembourg, the Embassy in India organized an exhibition of the artist’s sculptures and archival documentation of the Indo – Luxembourg connection over the last 6 decades. A true tribute to the legacy, the display included documents from the artist’s archives along with documentation from the Embassy and government of Luxembourg.

The group show organized by Vadehra Art Gallery was a juxtaposition of contemporary as well as modern masters masters such as Amar Nath Sehgal, krishen Khanna, Gulammohammed Sheikh, J. Swaminathan, Mrinalini Mukherjee, Dhruva Mistry, Shanko Chaudhuri and Himmat Shah amongst others.

The exhibition 100 Years of Sehgal: the Modern Artist’s Centennial Anniversary, was organized in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.

The exhibition was organised by Dhoomimal Gallery in New Delhi. The show was a reminiscence of the art collective, The Delhi Shilpi Chakra which was formed on 25th March 1949.
