Amar Nath Sehgal established the Creative Fund, a. nonprofit exchange program for young artists to learn overseas.
The exchange allowed artists from India to travel to Luxembourg and artists from Luxembourg to come to India.
They would learn from each other’s cultures and art practices in the form of residencies.
Kavita Nayar from India and Isabelle Lutz from Luxembourg were the first to participate in the exchange.
The Fund allowed Sehgal to provide the help to these artists who went on to become contemporary artists.
