In Glowing Darkness
In glowing darkness of night
My mind fears and falters
As I lit the candles light
Neither love nor passions alter.
Under the watchful darkness
I keep and keep awake
Lest love and passions run away
And leave me nothing but stake.
I wish to light a candle
That lights to add to darkness
And night prolongs to longer nights
To radiate nothing but sadness.
For growth of love and passion
All nights need to be dark
To sustain the lingering darkness
And keep me awake at heart.
